no no no obviously we think the ricecooker is the only way to cook rice

long long ago in the southern province of china, when the farmer found a grain of rice and planted it

when the harvest was done, he dug up a magical ricecooker from the ground that the gods have left there as well

from then on, the ricecooker was the only way to cook rice

    lovely chinese fables, night86mare style

are we going to say now, that we think that rice only grows in southern province of china?

    Of course.

I used a mess tin many times, but I still stuck to the "one finger digit" rule many times, so there!

Give it a try, anyway it is only an internship so even if she didnt like it will only be a short time - then move on. So long as the company here can give the exposure that she needs is more important. My opinion is, which ever country one goes, there will always be adjustment required. I've even met some foreign engineers who worked in different parts of Asia every few years due to development opportunities.

Actually, its more efficient to cook rice using a pot than a rice cooker if only a small quantity is required. Those who said that rice cookers are required to cook rice are actually the people who don't know how to cook rice, because they need an idiot proof dedicated device.

I suppose the ang mohs should ask you to grill steak using a wok then.

    (P.S. Of course it's silly!)

I have members Reporting Post on this thread stating how this thread has gone way OT.

I don't think the level of OT is necessary. And since TS has already gotten enough advices and suggestions, I am closing this thread to prevent unnecessary flame baits and OTs.
