You can check out the CF Perf DB though you wont find all the brands of CF listed there.

"The performance of the 30x 1GB CF is far better than even the xD card.
Tested with RAW, and the speed as half that of the xD. Took less than 3 secs to write. Some avid digital photographers in my office, making them 'ge-ann' by telling them how much better CF type I is compared to microdrive ... and how cheap you are getting it too!" From another satisfied customer of my transcend CF cards ! ![]() |

I am not flaming you but why support transcend all the way? I am not saying you can't, but why? Is it much better? I have a Microdrive which I may be letting go because of the slower speed. I too have a Hagiwara CF and I am quite very happy with it. I am a newbie when it comes to digital cameras and cards. How does a Transcend compares to San Disk Ultra, Lexar WA, and Hagiwara that makes you say "support Transcent all the way"? Give me a very reasonable explaination. ![]() OT : By the way, I took a look at your Pulau Ubin gallery. Breathtaking. Absolutely fantastic, makes me want to go there and shoot as well. ![]() Been to your home page, then I realized you shot for the Pulau Ubin book. Really a case of what they call "got eye no eyeball" on my part. ![]() Regards CK |

Hi ckiang, Me not that pro lah... jus pass time only... I mean nowadays I go there to relax myself. Just for your info also, the Pulau Ubin book is not fully my work. It is a joint project by a few photographers but I devoted more time to it because I could find the time to. By all means CK, go. Go and experience the joy of shooting there. Find pleasures in igniting more passions in photography. Good Luck. Andy Ho http://andyho.clubsnap.org/gallery/ |

Yup. Nikon D100 only. Just got it half a year back. Before I shot with digital, I was using Nikon F5, F100, and FM2n. 99% of the time shooting on slides film.
