Default Sanyo Quick Charger 2100

Hi All

Just saw an advert on Sanyo's NI-MH2100 Quick Charger (NC-MQR02) which includes 2 NI-MH 2100 batteries at a recommended retail price of $40. It can take both AA and AAA batteries and is made in Japan.

Need to know is this a better charger in terms of performance than the Rip charger that is always advertised on this thread for $30???

Thanks!!!

Read properly, the cells are made in Japan but the charger is made in China and not by Sanyo.

Why Sanyo charger is not better than the RipVan100?

1) It takes 4 hours to charge 4 Sanyo 2100s, almost twice as long as RipVan100

2) No trickle charge function, RipVan100 has.

3) No discharge function, RipVan100 has

4) Only 1 LED to indicate operational status, RipVan100 has 2.

5) More pricey, $40 can get you a RipVan100 with 4 x Sanyo 2100s.
