Question..
+ What model of light meter are u using? + Is there any light meter that has incident, reflective and spot functions all built in with NO additional attachment? My Gossen luna pro f is faulty. Thinking of upgrade. Gossen allow incident and reflective by flipping the built in diffuser in and out, plus additional attachment for 10/15 deg spot. Very fast to startup, very accurate, and convenient. Reflective as in 30++ deg average metering (Spot is actually a reflective at smallest angle). Prefer average to spot sometimes, becuz u dun have to do multiple spot if lighting condition is normal, and it's fast, no need to aim aim aim. Some meters only have incident and spot, not my preference for flexibility. Was thinking of Minolta IVF, this guy is compact and light, but it has 3 separate attachments for incident, reflective and spot, each time u have remove and attach.. very troublesome. |

Maybe the Minolta VI? But, do take note of the back-up service. Is longer than before cos all Minolta's item is under Sony servicing already.
Unless, there's other servicing centre that can still repair stuff like this... ![]() ![]() |

I don't have this Sekonic. Since you don't want to change attachments. I use Minolta IV, Gossen (fewmodels) and Sekonic (very small meter). Sometimes, a guess of exposure without meter is good enough. Use what you like and trust. Forget the fancy do-this-do-that stuff. |
