5D = 40D batties?

Hi,

Is the 5D and 40D share the same batties?

Appreciate your advice.

yup. BP-511A. Same battery as the D30, D60, 10D, 20D, 30D and 300D and also prosumers like Canon G series.

going to get a 5D body in HK, so just need to bring a lens and a Batt.

Be warned that G7 and G9 do not share the same battery as the 40D and 5D
