Default How to save edited RAW in lightroom??

    Hi all,

just started using lightroom and I find it an interactive piece of software. However, I have some questions I hope someone can help me with:

    1) After editing RAW images in LR, I cant seem to reopen the same RAW file in CS3 without resetting the file back to default. How do I save the settings I made to the RAW file in LR?

    2) Exporting the file to CS3 from LR will result in a TIFF format in CS3. But after doing the changes in CS3, I cant save the image as a JPEG. There are only options to save as TIFF, PSD, photoshop RAW etc... How do I save the TIFF as JPEG?

    3) Are there anything I can do in LR that I cant already do in CS3? If so how does LR fit into you guys' work flow?

1 - the changes are saved in xmp files
2 - make sure the editted content is not layered and is in 8-bit mode
3 - slide show, UI difference, the core is the same as ACR 4

1 - you can set as a default that LR writes automatically all changes into the xmp file, this may slow down your computer, or you export into xmp as you need it
3 - Database with keywords etc... i am not sure if Bridge can do that
    Never forget rule 5
