Hi all, I am organising a MO for Megapower batts. So far I only have the following for orders. If you are interested, please list as usual in other MOs. Please follow the format:

1) nick - item name x qty, item name x qty......

Please PM me your nick, real name and contact no. Thanks.

Item 1: Megapower 1250mAh BP-511 $30
Item 2: Megapower 1300mAh EN-EL2 $30

If you wish to request for more Megapower items, please PM me. Thanks.

Please do not back out on the collection unless got valid reason. If not, you'll be banned from my future MO!!!

Hi chyeo, is the batt EN-EL2 format supported in S45/50? I need a NB-2L one ... dunno if they're the same?

unless prices went up, you should be able to get the 1250 Megapower BP-511s for $30 from AP without much bargaining

My contact told me unless I can get a lot of orders, the price remains at $30. I'm doing this MO just to let people have the convenience of buying these batts during SEED... so if you feel more convenient to get from AP, go ahead...

i am using the 1800 mah batteries. bought at $28 from MSColor.

i've only used it for one week, can't comment on the longevity of this battery.

but initial test on my maha C777plus-II analyzer showed that the strength of this battery is stronger than megapower.

Seems like you guys have better lobangs. Seem pointless to have this MO, also no one supporting too. In that case, I cease this MO from now on. If anyone want me to help get or check anything, just PM me directly.

Mods/Admin, help lock this thread please. Thanks.

Is that the one on purple box? I got one from MSColor too but it was faulty. I used the Maha analyzer and it discharge only 477mah after full charge, worst than any of my canon battery. I returned to exchange for the Megapower.

i think you've got a faulty one. i've bought 4 of them. all of them discharge at around 16++ mah after full charge.

the megapower discharge at around 13++.

i put 2 of the 1800 batteries into the 10D, switch the camera on for 9 hours and still going strong.

i shot 180 images yesterday with 2 fresh batteries, with 4 sec preview, and a lot of magnification of the pictures, and batteries still going strong.

the analyser can be bought from EastGear, $165.95.
