400D Users Help !

Hi ! I will be getting 1 2GB CF soon... wondering if anyone has tried using the Sandisk Extreme II/III/IV ... does it really make a big difference ?

i dont think the 400d's write speed could out do those cards, so it doesnt make a difference.

ic ... cause my 400D 2GB Sandisk Ultra II is slow .. burst 10 shots then busy already ...

i'm not too sure what the 400d's write speed is but i know the 350d maxes out at about 6mb/s? so i think any card that is faster than that should be fine for the xti.

if you want to be able to burst forever, you'll probably need a card that does like 30mb/s (assuming a shootrate of 3fps and then each file being about 10mb)
