no need to get on her case. its people's perorgative if they want to publicly or privately share the info with her. If you want to know so badly you can always start a thread like she did and ask and see what responses you get.

Don't know if this is too late to help, but in the past, when in doubt, what we used to do was present a silk-lined or decorated tray (metal, new and shiny, never plastic) of simply arranged flowers, premium fruits and foodstuffs linked to or important to a particular culture (do a bit of research).

Why a tray and not a hamper or basket? Because it has to be held and presented with both hands to the host. Such a posture could signify or project humbleness and respect. So far, we have even tried this approach with a 'problamatic' neighbour and all is at peace in my neck of woods. Has been for a few years now.

Forgot to mention, if done correctly, presenting a tray also creates an aura of importnace and granduer. ;-)

Hey, that's a great idea! Jeanie has the skills and equipment to easily carry that off! But it would only work if the family doesn't have a nice quality photo already.

That's true! Especially when the house is all done up, and everyone has new clothes and all that. Good point.
