i'm probly going to get a cam sometime during december.....
but i still don't know what cam to buy. my most like now is still the S5. what cam would u recomend to buy... $500-$700 Image Stabalizer Takes good videos can switch to manual mode nice indoor and outdoor shots not MIC preferably more than 3x zoom face detection thanks

Why not MIC? If the cam manufacturer has proper QC then should not be an issue.
I have the S6500FD and it is MIC. So far no issues.
