where to buy?

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a Canon EOS 30D along with maybe a couple of lenses (not all, just a few out of those that I'm considering), listed below:

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di

It'd be helpful if someone could direct me to a good place to buy them? (I'm not interested in the EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM and the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II kit lenses.) I've referred to the price list here (http://clubsnap.com/forums/showthrea...31#post3475231) and it seems like the prices are quite steep compared to those found at online shops: eg, http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...C=CAE30D&Q=&O=. However, I find that one problem with these online shops is that they provide a 1 year USA limited warranty... I don't think this will be valid in Singapore?

Also, I'm considering buying second hand if I'll be buying from Singapore and not online. Would it be better to buy second hand for the body and accessories, and not the lenses?

For shops, i recommend Cathy Photo and Tk Photo...

Among the rest of the lens you mentioned, only these should you bother purchasing.

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS USM
Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM

Pick anyone of these....

The rest of the savings, go get a 40D instead....

actually i have trouble choosing between sigma 10-20 and canon efs 10-22...actually other than the price difference there is another difference.... the canon efs 10mm is wider than the sigma although its both at 10mm.....i have done no test on this but thats what i read in some mag last month....another thing that worries me is the skin peeling of the sigma...hey, i am no sucker for a minty product when it comes to a 2nd hander product but materialisticly the skin peel will dust your bag.....anyway i do hope i can get my hands on a sigma 10-20 if it goes under $400.....

not really. on paper, the canon is 107° 30' - 63° 30' vs the sigma 102.4 - 63.8
