Flashes use Guide number while Strobes use Power (Watts) to determine their maximum output...
How to convert Guide number to Power (watts) ???

It is useful to know the maths behind yah...For example, SB-800 guide number is 38 at 35mm zoom head, I want to find out how many watts equivalent it is compared to a strobe...

Ws and guide number are measure of different things. You may not be able to convert directly. BC Last edited by Scaglietti; 6th November 2007 at 01:26 PM. |
