Default Runway show at Vivocity [27 Oct 2007] [Mary Chia's 25th Anniversary]

Sorry for posting so late! Finally had some time to clear some backlog. Managed to squeeze in a little time to process some photos of this show. Still have some more to come. Will try to finish this soon since I still have more backlog to clear.

My noob takes. C&C welcome. Colour balance are abit off for some shots. Still learning to control my camera and flash to max efficiency. Some shots are also abit soft. Minimal PP done to all photos.

There are folks who commented that my pictures are over-exposed. Now, yours are under-exposed.

Well, if you just set everything to auto, at the factory setting, you should get decently exposed pictures that are in focus. I guess that only after you have more or less learnt the basics that you can start exploring other settings that might be better for some particular situations.

And one more thing - you said that you used flash, but I do not see the effect of your flash leh....

Well, shoot more and learn more.

The shots are good composition-wise. ^^

Cos I didn't use my flash for every single shot. Also, at times, there was this photographer who blocked me in a way that my flash propelled out hit his head instead of the stage.

This kind of show sometimes no choice also. Too many people. Hard to get a good spot. Always kena block.

Still got lots to learn. Heh.

Thanks for commenting though. Maybe next time we rojak our pictures. You overexpose, I underexpose, then rojak already become properly expose.

Har... okay lah, those shots are... lucky shots. I was pai-kia enough to elbow and bash my way thru to the front so that's why the shots are big close-ups. The rest is taken care of by the camera.

Hahaha, me gotta same-same problem - flash fired at someone's head. Solution - I am gonna to buy the flash bracket and mount the flash on top of the cam in portrait position.

Hahaha, I am thinking a Professor gonna to pick our pics to show what is over and what is under as example for his class.
