Cokin IR 007 filter

hi...
i just bought cokin IR 007 filter...and i need help how to use this filter?
and how about the camera setting, white balance setting, aperture & shutter setting when we use this filter...to get the effect of IR, because i tried once before, but i couldnt get the effect that i wanted to.
Jus for your info, im using Nikon D80 (unmodified)

it doesn't make much different actually... I been looking for this filter for quite some time... always no stock... at CP

i bought it from CP marina maybe about 1,5mounths ago...i cant remember how much..but if i'm not mistaken..i still have the receipt..
i'll get back to you for this price information...
i heard a lot of u guys lookin for this filter,huh..?whoooaaa...lucky me then!
but still struggling to maximize this filter...hahahaha..
