I was wondering if I could ask Voightlander users a question:
What are the lenses I could use on my Canon EOS 10D camera via an adapter? I'm looking for really wide lenses like 15-18mm, and a nice tele in the 80-100mm range. Thanks in advance for your advise. ![]() p.s. I have already asked Chiff many months back, but guess he must have been really tied up. The only reply I got was that the mounts were for Nikon or something, and further enquiries went unanswered. |

v tempted to ditch everything and get a d40 again to use with this nocton..
havent pre-ordered it.. considering.. and that i've a piece of ZF already.. tasty stuff.. :P dream merchant -> most nikon mounts are very easily converted via an adaptor to be used on the canon. weekh in this forum uses a lot of exotic lenses on his canon too ![]()

I am interested in D40 or D40x with this lens too. But I am not sure where to find the spilt image screen and I need professional help to install it as well |

orient should have the third party split screen for about sixty dollars, but there is a Katz-eye screen too i think, a lot more expensive.
installation shouldnt be a problem DIY, or i think you can check with fatigue in this forum, he's very good with camera works

If you're looking for a body to mount the new Voigtlanders, why not consider using the Pentax KA mount version with the Pentax K100D or K100D Super? The camera bodies are very affordable, the viewfinder image is good, plus you get backward compatibility to any and every K mount and even M42 screw mount lenses (with an M42 adapter) and best of all, EVERY lens mounted gets image stabilization!

For those who intend to use adaptor and light-weight dSLR body with this new Voigtlander lens, you can consider Olympus E-410.
For film, I intend to use this new Voigtlander lens with Nikon FM10. Super light-weight! Last edited by gohaj; 11th November 2007 at 12:26 PM. |

Sigh ... this is so tempting. I'm torn between this, my presesnt sets of OM 50 mils and getting a not so fantastic condition OM 50mm 1.2. |
