parrot at the singapore zoo

IMHO, the lighting looks abit weird. u used ur flash? seems too harsh to me. the focus seems soft as well. will prefer to have the whole tail feather in the pics as well. crop seems a tad tight. for the 2nd pic, the parrot is framed in the dead centre. it will work better if u framed it more to the right n give it some look room.

the parrot's colours look abit too saturated as well.

just my noob 2 cents. no offence intended.

ha ha ha, i was standing about 7m away, the parrot are under shade, lots of visitors walking between me and the bird. so have to use flash and up iso to get 1/200sec.

i am using a old low end manual focus lens lar, so it looks soft and the colors is less vibrant. so i adjusted to the color i feel is correct. but may have adjusted to much. ha ha ha.

just keep practising! shoot more and post more for comments to improve!
