Default Send in for servicing

Hi,

Can you send your lenses to CSC for cleaning and checking/recalibrating service? Or they only provide repair services?

Thanks

I just sent in my new 24-70 for checking/recalibration today. Bad copy out of the box. Luckily under warranty. Couldn't test it cos it was bought from B&H.

OT Abit: And before some Canon-zealots come in and say it's my cam or user fault, I've even tested it on a tripod and head-to-head with my other lenses and it's definately softer at 70mm and not focusing accurately. I just had my body calibrated about 1/2 a year ago. There ARE bad copies of even L lenses out there! Beware!
