    Default B/W Landscapes

    I was halfway on my holiday in New Zealand when the news reached me. As I made my way to the airport after hours of administrative ping-pong, the fall colours of New Zealand seems strangely devoid of colour. Oh, how much influence does the mood of the photographer has on his final images? Even back at home, as I opened the images, I converted a number of them to B/W without much hestitation. I think I've created less than 5 b/w images prior to this and none of them landscapes.

    Here, I've 6 b/w landscapes, in loving memory of my mother :

    nuts, my condolences. I can understand what you were feeling then by imagining myself looking at such scenes devoid of colour.
