I see people mention your photo has got hot spots? wat is hot spot? i only see a sticky thrad on causes of hot spot but it didn't mention wat is it...

in some cases some lenses (on prosumer OR dslr lenses) tend to have hot spots - i.e. the centre of the picture has this funny ring that seems more exposed than the rest of the picture something like reverse vignetting in the centre, if you get what i mean |

It's a form of lens flare, made worse by the fact that electronic sensors are usually covered with a glass that gives specular reflections. Lens/sensor cover coatings which would reduce flare are designed for the visible spectral range. At IR wavelengths, they may not be that effective anymore.
