looking for photographer

hey guys.
this is my 1st post here in this forum and i don't even know if i am posting in the correct place anot. if yes please forgive me

a professional photographer told me the standard rate of getting a good photographer is around 350 min to even consider it. for company dinner purpose.

this company is only goana offer $20o for a around 4hour dinner. and for this price they are not goana expect professional. but at least something decent.
i wonder if they is anyone here willing to take up this offer.?

For event photography, even that's a little too low. Maybe just burn on cd without PP should be alright for a beginner.

I disagree in name-calling. So what if people want to do a job for $200? Thats what china, india or any 3rd world country for that matter on earth is for. Cheap labour. Its the world as we know. Deal with it.

a clown is a professional and thus, a profession. it is not name calling.

so be it. S$200 is alot of $$ for an event shoot but the truth remains that there're many others who are willing to shoot for free.

correction, in the big chinese cities, you can't get a photographer for $200 for 4 hrs. sadly to say, singapore's photographers (of the same good level) is cheaper than China's.
In China, there's no such thing as substandard photographer, cos the industry does not condone that. most beginners serious in the trade start off as assistants.
only good photographers get employed or can start their business. Actually the customers there are quite discerning (in the 3 major cities).
