The more I played with Leopard, the move I love it! I find that Apple makes many small changes that are subtle yet very useful. For example, to rename a file, only the filename is highlighted and not the extension as most people will want to rename the filename and not the extension. Another example is the resizing of the Dock. Just drag it can already; previously I go to Sys Pref to do it, find it quite troublesome.

I find that after the upgrade, the boot up, Mail and Safari is faster!

indeed...after a week on leopard, i keep finding new things.
at least it is worth the money, unlike other-system-you-know-what

just wondering, in tiger we have this progress bar when we boot up, i can't see it in leopard.
is it taken away? or is it too fast that i can't see it?

There is a Notes feature in the Mail . Wonder why they put it there and not in iCal ?

If I create notes , how does it interface with other application (eg : iCal )

I wonder people who upgrade from Win3.1 -> 95, 98, ME, XP, Vista will get faster or slower.

I avoided the BSOD thingee by removing the Logitech Control Center software, which utilises Application Enhancer. The latest version of LCC, 2.3.1, supposedly works with Leopard, as does the latest version of Application Enhancer but I wasn't willing to try either.

Funny, though, my Logitech keyboard, which worked fine under Tiger, had the option and command keys reversed under Leopard. Now, I'm back to my Apple keyboard, which is bad.

The whole thing is sluggish. I run folding@home and what took about 1 hour, now is 1 hour and 44 minutes. I might exchange one of my two RAM sticks so that I have a total of 2 GB but I don't think it will help. Activity Monitor shows that I have plenty of available memory.

Software generally works fine but there are a lot of patches for software available.

I'm really sad that my Canon i9900 is missing since Canon says that the current driver is compatible and included with Leopard. On the other hand, the MP600 is available.

My internet connection has been dodgy but I found that it's become stable since I stopped using my AIM account on iChat.

I hope it's not like 10.3 where I waited until 10.3.4 to print or 10.4 where almost nothing worked correctly until 10.4.5. I should have resisted.

Still remeber last time , the first Window I play is MS Windows Version 1.0

Very easy to use. No need to install and it is store in a 5 1/4 floppy. Start up very fast , shutdown also very fast.

Too bad I throw it away liao.

If not , wonder can it still be use on P4 system now a day

By the way, my Adium cannot work in Leopard, just keep on connecting. I switch to MS MSN Messenger. MSN Messenger is the only known MS software which is installed in my Mac.

I have the opposite experience! The world of IT is unexplainable!

My Tiger works fine with MSN Mesenger until I installed beta Safari. Then I switched to Adium.

There should be a reason why it is that way loh.

Me = Tiger + Adium + MS MSN => Leopard + Adium + MS MSN + Safari Final

You = Tiger + Adium + MS MSN + Safari Beta => Leopard + Adium + MS MSN + Safari Final

Thus the outcome might be different too.
