Anything is possible but I find it highly unlikely that Apple will go anywhere that the piracy is extremely high. They face enough resistance from recording companies and governments where things are good.

I don't mean to be indelicate so forgive me, but the few Singaporeans I know don't know many people who buy music and the many more Malaysians I know almost don't know anyone who buys music. Some of my friends in Japan, in their university days, used to be part of music rental businesses and would create a copy of new music when they rented it. This is now forbidden, but does it stop anyone? I recall an instance in a medium range audio shop where some salesperson was telling me that any time any of them got a new CD, they'd take it to work and use the CD Recorder to make copies for anyone on staff who wanted it. That made me think that the U.S.A. was the worst but according to the numbers, it's not. I only buy CDs because the download-able variety lacks quality and is expensive.

I just can't see that Apple would make a business decision that could leave them losing a lot of money by opening stores where people don't buy a lot of music. Are there enough iPods there that people will suddenly start to buy music or do most people use their hand phones?

Come across this website to give away Software (FOC)

Edited : For Mac user only hor.

    http://givingtree.macheist.com/

    "MacHeist II

    That was then...

Last December, Mac users around the world participated in what became to be known as the most explosive Mac indie software event in history...

Tens of thousands of users participated in MacHeist missions, discovering clues, solving puzzles, and winning free software prizes. And when the fuse ran out, we unveiled the best software deal in Mac history.

Over the course of a week, over 16,000 customers snapped up the bundle. With 25% of each sale going to a charity of the customer's choice, the event ended up raising $200,000 for important causes.

    And this is now...

Now, one year later, we're ready to make history again. MacHeist 2 is now in progress, and it is set to have more bangs, thrills, and software freebies than last time around.

Remember... this deal of a lifetime will only be available once, for a very limited time, so don't miss out!

Are you ready to join the heist? We invite you to join in the fun!"

Oh, by the way, I don't believe I mentioned that Logitech eliminated Unsanity's Application Enhancer from the Logitech Control Center software, so it's not a problem with Leopard now.

Strange that a lot of applications are still searching for Leopard compatibility, but Apple introduced another revision to QuickTime that has fixes for Adobe AfterEffects.

10.5.2 still isn't ready but should be finished sooner than 2 weeks from now. We should see new MacBook Pro machines just after that.

    Note :

Aperture 2 requires Mac OS X version 10.5.2. or later

To upgrade use Mac OS X 10.5.2 Combo Update

To check if you Mac meet the requirement, download Aperture 2 Compatibly Checker
