Well said, DP
I don't consider the patches of sand that we have at different places in Singapore, with absolutely no waves and dirty polluted water, as a beach at all.
We might as well create an artificial beach with artificial waves - just like what they have in Japan.
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt....
i dun think Singapore has a beach big enough to hold this crowd. Maybe gather all on Padang field.. and they will have a new topic to debate after bar-top dancing.

if we have such beach, life guard will be my career!
Games of Thrones.....
A man made/artificial beach, "if a govenment/council creates one" is still a beach .... there are plenty of beautiful girls there to cover it.
Singaporean girls would give many of girls from other countries a run for the money.
Just my view (and I hope yours)
Time, is an effortless construction :)
Hey..we do have beaches....they are not the best in Asia but objectively yes you can still call our shoreline beaches...just minus out the clear blue waters, fine sand, occasional mass of migrating sea urchins that spikes your feet full of spikes ( ya I had my share of those ), no sexy lifeguards on guard and yes topless suntanning hahahah...

i do think we have relatively nice beaches at sentosa, definitely there is nothing to compare with the blue waters of say, redang.. but still it is relatively ok i guess, when you compare it to say, certain portions of malaysia
i would say that not all famous beaches are famous because of white powderlike sand or pristine blue waters, i guess
of course beaches like labrador park.. i somehow don't envisage it being populated with many babes.. likewise for punggol. but still, they are beautiful in their own way. ok better stop before i start getting carried away ranting about the rocks
