GIMP 2.4 is released! Those who have tried it, any comments?

Yep,

I use Gimp 1.x version and each new version have a lot of improvements. 2.4 bring color profiles, a lots of other features, but this one is really a very important one.

IMHO, Gimp brings is powerful enough for 99.9% of the photographers and there is no point to spend 1,000 S$ for PS (+ Windows/Mac) when you can use Gimp on Linux for completely free.
