I like your second photo, nice reflection , good symmetry. Would be perfect if the colours were a bit warmer.

Woke up around 5:15 am and took the shot around 6:10 am. Waking up early and waiting for the sun to rise was worth it.

actually i prefer the first one , not sure if it's true, but definitely the second one looks overprocessed, like there was too much highlight recovery, but i wasn't there soi can't be sure

besides that, in the first one the foreground's textures are much more pleasing than just plain reflections (perhaps i have seen too many of these) and i find it more interesting. in fact, i would prefer more foreground (beach wet sand) and less of the sky. admittedly the clouds are there, but to me, it is not dramatic enough, so not such a need to give it so much space =)

Thanks Pat33 and night86mare for viewing.

Comments noted.

Wanted the water to be more "still" to get better reflection, but don't think it would happen because of the tide coming in...

I guess that's what a photograph will really bring out in us...our preferences...whether reflection or sand. Mine...no preference at all...the photo was just icing to the time spent with my son.

Thanks again for viewing.
