It will be nicer if the detail of the lotus can be seen. Most part of that lotus seems to be burnt-out.

I was playing around with PS... I think I might have made it too bright, so the detail of the lotus was lost...

hi, jolantru, it is most likely that the lotus is the subject of interest, and thus details must be preserved for that. besides the surrounding does not look dark enough, which means that you can give less exposure.
the ripples looks interesting, and you can also create more if you want. for composition, cropping will help to increase the size of the otherwise small subject. also too much interferences lies in the edges, esp the top. you can consider cropping the top and bottom to give a more pleasing panaroma. also do consider giving more space to the bottom right to decrease tension where it does not help or relate to the subject. minor yet major point. if times is easy, a different timing would give better light and maybe hide the shadow of the lotus. Good try, i think you can try using a circular polarising filter to cut away the reflection on the water the next time you shoot similar subject. This way you can make the water darker.
