hey guys... got my A70 for abt a week. As u all noe, there's this 2 piece of protective "flaps" dat open n close when u on n off the camera. For my case, i realise tat the top flap doesn't close entirely, however the bottom flap closes totally. And my top flap is opened slightly ard 1-1mm. All my shoots r not blocked by the flap however, upon seeing this I feel kinda weird. Is there something wrong wif the closin mechanism, anyone's camera lik mine? Wad should i do??

mine closes perfectly fine. Maybe u shld try going back to the shop to ask for an exchange? Or visit Canon itself.

No such problem for a new A70 that I just purchased for my aunt today. Hmm ... if you are really bothered by it, I suggest that you check with the Canon agent, as it is after the 7 day 1-to-1 exchange with the camera shop. Maybe you got something small stuck near the shutters for the cover.
