Recently, I was in Bintan, on a family holiday.

Still, there was time for some photography.

i like #2. very symmetrical composition

i know they are beams supporting some structure, but what ?

bro,
if you are gonna post lots, may i suggest you number them as well. makes it easy for us viewers to include references.

These beams are supporting the roof of the hotel main lobby + clubhouse.

Here's another shot, this one taken at Oleh-Oleh.

It's laid out like a village, except every house is a shophouse, and they sell everything from keropok to shirts.

Also taken at Oleh-Oleh, this however, was taken in the eatery where my family and I were having dinner. The ambience was really nice, and the whole place was lit by these dim lanterns.
