    Forgot to add, I was standing at least 50m away from the entrance of the building.

    If u have a press pass, u can shoot anything anywhere...... a licence to shoot to kill! lolx

    we can all rant till the cows come home...bottom line will be:

    Singapore is not a conducive place for street photography.

    Restricted, no. Conducive, no as well. Unless you got a press pass as mentioned

    Lao goh house is next to the road, at T junction, can take easily. Lao Lee one not so easy.

    When we go out to do street shooting, one of us will disguise as a sexy Afghan gal to engage the security guard so that the others can shoot freely.

    It's not just in Singapore.

    In the name of national security there're places where they get very physical if you try to take photos.

    If you're outside the building's plot boundary, you can shoot as you like, as long as no one inside it is doing anything that they might think you're intuding into their privacy.

    Unless it's a designated Protected Place.

    Find the address and use Goggle Earth to view from top, though can't zoom in too much
