I prefer the shots from the GRD, the HIE ones too grainy for me and I dunno if my eyes blur or they're too soft.
The slight grains in thr GRD |

I also prefer your GRD shots especially the last one.
Maybe it is because of your metering for the HIE did you try to take the reference from your GRD metering to shoot ??. |

Fogging ??. maybe developer did not handle it properly.
Don't believe it was your camera, maybe you should try a roll of normal film. |

but when using HIE....any small leaks will be very bad for HIE. this roll i see..mostly overexposed. i also used a different filter this time round (a RED 25A) |

Yeh HIE film is very prone to fogging.
If am not wrong R25A should be the correct filter to use for film IR, there is no need to put IR filter leh. |

different film gotta use different rating filter just like digital. HIE still looks ok with 25A filter. ive had success using both 25A and R72 with HIE in my FM2. i itchy backside wanna try on different type of cameras lah ![]() *and im determined to get it right still! ![]() |

Mmmm interesting.
You may want to take a look at this guys recommendation. BTW I also have Ilford SFX IR filter that you may be able to cut to size (since it is not that large) and try instead of using the R25A.
