A700 - can zoom in on RAW ?

hi all,

a question or two to those who owns the a700.

1. can we zoom in on the RAW file when we view the photos at the back lcd, if we set to shoot RAW only ? that is the shortcoming of KM7D, which was later resolved in the KM5D.

2. how many RAW files can be saved in a 4Gb card, if shoot in RAW only ?

need to know if i need more cf cards since this is a 12.2 megapix camera and i shoot RAW only.

Basically it can be done in A100 so not an issue and try getting 4-8gb cf card if you are shooting raw oftenly.

RAW files are big... About 18MB? Even on the A100, for an all-RAW photo outing I took 8GB of cards with me.

wow... 18mb per RAW file ? dats roughly abt 220 shots in a 4gb card. i guess i'll need an additional 8gb when i eventually get the a700 by end of the year.
