IR on Minolta 7HI?

Hi

Dumb question: Minolta 7HI doesn't come with IR function rite? But if I fit a IR filter over the camera and set the aperature to the biggest and shutter speed to the slowest, will it work ??

actually the image will come out, just that u'll see a centre circle spot that's ''overexposed'' , seem like some kind of hot obj there or something

It is really not that bad ... cannot over expose .... but have not tried any lately

Hi Deanna, don't bother ... I refused to listen at first and then had to sell the IRs lens away in the end ;-P Made a small profit though cos I sold it overseas on eBay ;-P

I bought a 25a red filter anyway....not IR but use it from B/W......Haven't tried it as for that ÏR"effect though.......

It will be too good to be true if it doubles up as IR....hee........
