Default IR PP

Hi, I have just got an hoya IR filter for my 400D and have tried doing the PP in PS. It doesn't quite come out like the postings I've seen here! Anyone want to email me an IR pic that they have had good pp results on so that I can practice (knowing its a good original image) -thanks

stickies are your best friend

logitech's thread on basic pp

IF you did not do your custom WB properly, i.e. you get a pinkish magenta picture, not what you see in the above link

try Auto Levels (shift + ctrl + l) and then Auto Color (shift + ctrl + b)

if it doesn't work

desaturate about 30 FIRST, repeat the 2 auto steps until you get something like what you see in logitech's thread, maybe a little more contrasty

if still cannot, desaturate to 40

if still cannot, post your picture up here
