    Depends on which commands, certain comands like xcopy, has been removed

    That's funny, I've been using xcopy every day as part of my startup.bat file in Win XP. Maybe someone added it

    I recall that command.com is added as part of the sys command.

    I still use cmd in windows so still use a lot of dos commands.

    I think the later version of DOS does that.. the earlier version just copy msdos.sys and io.sys.
