Decided to post some old pics taken late last year for the SPEX 21 Youth TKD Tournament. Images captured without flash in indoor arena on both digicam and film SLR(drive mode not used).

Congrats on your grading accomplishment tweakmax, especially your Tameshiwari segment. I've not tried as many before.

Zerstorer, which are those from your DC and alos, your SLR? Can't seem to tell them apart (or least I can't be dead sure)

"Execution" is really well executed, photographically, nice ones

The DOF should have been a giveaway..heh. Anyway the first 4 images where from my 602@ISO400 for the first image and ISO1600 for the rest. The "Execution" shot was from a 5frame burst.

The following 4 images were taken with my ole Minolta Maxxum 8000i with a 50mm wide open@f1.7 which accounts for the light falloff in the corners. Fujifilm Superia Xtra800 was used.

Thanks Zerstorer. Heh, didn't take a closer look at the pictures and now that you re-introduced them, I can see the difference. Btw, nicely scanned shots too.

The film was scanned at Colour Lab, didn't have access to a film scanner then. However, they came with a horrible green cast which I took great pains to remove.

My personal favourite is actually the shot entitled "Timing". Although there isn't eye contact, I lucky to capture the kick at the point of impact with both competitors in mid-air.

So the "Timing" part applies to me too, as I wasn't using the motordrive.
