looking for a small bag that can fit my requirement of putting 1 body + 1 lens + flash (30D + 24-85 + 580EX) or 1 body + 2 lens (30D + 24-85 + 100Macro)
at the moment i have a Domke F3X, found it too spacious for the above setup (from experience the bigger the bag, the more unnecc. things you bring out for shooting) i am open to advice towards beltpacks/toploaders/backpacks/slings but for a start, i had shortlisted the following below: Lowepro Toploader series, Lowepro Slingshot 100/200, Crumpler 4/5 Million Home would prefer bags from the more 'popular' / 'affordable' brands over the hard to get / pricey brands. ![]() |

Crumpler 4 million dollars cannot put in much at all, forget abt it... cost the same price as LowePro Stealth Reporter 100 somemore. Our dSLR body so big i dun think it can accomodate at all. 5 million dollars maybe, better to try it at TK Photo, you can put your things inside to try.

hmm, thanks for the input, i am currently studying in Australia, wont be able to get the good prices Singapore shops offers..
![]() hence i need to evaluate the options (without seeing the actual product physicall) and ask a friend to buy it for me in Singapore and bring it over when he is coming over to visit me.. ![]() slingshot 100 and 5 million home are 2 candidates that i think are pretty good. the question is, do i need another sling bag? ![]() |

5 million dollar home can hold what you want
but if your lens is huge (e.g. sigma 10-20) then you might have problems some itimes and really no space for accessories if i were you, i'd just save myself and get the 6mdh |

I love my Slingshot 200AW since its easy to access the body area and also it doubles as a nice surface to rest your elbows on when shooting, providing more stability.

i was in your same situation awhile back, when i didnt like lugging all my stuff around and jus wanted a body, maybe 2 lenses and abit of room for batteries and all.
considered the crumpler 4million for awhlie, but finally got the 5 million. never regretted - the size is just nice for almost everything! just maybe too big when i bring around my body + 50mm prime only. haha. |

![]() looking from the lowepro website, this bag seems like an interesting option for me too.. does the 2 pouches/lens case on the side of the bag comes with it or does it come as an optional accessory? |

1 cam body, 3 lenses (a 50mm macro, 150mm tele, a wide angle), a flash gun, its diffuser (Flip it), 3 of my spare batts, 2 sets for the flash as well, a small umbrella, a flash light (small one), couple of cf cards, my mobile, wallet, PDA, cleaning kit, and a a5 sized book if i place on top of the lenses. If 200 AW is too big, maybe the 100 since principally same but smaller. Oh and also the bag, hidden beneath it, is a weatherproof cover which you can pull and cover in totality your bag, which i find neat. It folds away completely and nicely when unwanted. Z

IIRC, the Off-Road does come with the lens pouches. They come in a few sizes, one with a longer main compartment and longer lens pouches, and one with a shorter main compartment and two standard size lens pouches. I think you would have seen both on the Lowepro website.

maybe you can opt for a beltpack system? i am using a lowepro offtrail 2. i always move around with 1 wide, 1 tele, a 50mm prime and some filters with no major problem.

the 200aw can put in quite a lot of stuff.
this is what i managed to : 400D with battery grip and 17-85mm lense attached, analog canon 300 with 50mm 1.8 attached, tamron 70-300mm, canon 28-90mm, battery grip for canon 300, battery cartridge for bg-3e and a canon pns A530. esp like the 'table top' for changing lense. nice bag. |
