mmm... I notice all 4 pics cannot see bride's face is there a reason why you chose these 4 pics? Especially #2, I think a similar shot with the brides expression will be very nice.

I tend to adopt a holistic view when I look at any photos and I must say this series is so elegantly and artfully done, that the mood and expressions are already implicitly stated. I'm sure these works will attract a very upmarket crowd.

I'm sure there are shots with faces and all, but Joho have every reasons why he chose to showcase these.

Joho, great start to your overseas series, and post that one in B&W with the veil... and I look forward to my Corica

thanx bro!

as requested:

yeah.. again with no bride's face... just happen that way there's no much reason behind it.

might i ask those that wonder why the bride's face isn't shown:

can u tell if she's happy or sad even if her face isn't shown?

Nice series, but this one does not live up to the rest. The completely lack of details groom here is really a distraction.

I think she looks happy even without seeing her face.

I think #2 is really nice but I do feel that the picture will be stronger with the brides face and a good expression.

mmm... do you guys think it is better to capture such a shot AFTER the viel has completely lifted? I guess there are different pros and cons... after the viel has lifted, the sense of mystery and the sense of moment is not as strong. But in return you get to see the bride's face and perhaps a stronger expression of feeling.... just my 2 cents.

Personally I think #4 is the best. All the different hues of blue are beautiful, house, sky and water (pity the muddy brown patch of water though, wonder if you PSed the brown away it will look better?). The slight tilt of the horizon and the pose of of the the bride and groom and even the way the gown falls all gives a very strong "special moment" feeling to the pic.

#1 is great too but not as special as #4.

#3 I think the silhouette is not very strong as the outline of the bride and groom is not very pretty.

I was there for a week just a month ago, makes me miss Perth real bad.

Nice place for wedding photography.

And nice "active" shots, not the run-of-the-mill posed bridals. I agree that the importance here is to see the happiness of couple.

But then again, if I'm on holiday in Perth, SURELY I'll be happy. hahaha
