bring a specifications sheet of the flash, along with your camera body + zoom lens

mount up all 3: body, lens, flash with fresh batteries

using the specs sheet, verify the following:

    1. zoom range as stated ie to verify that the entire lens-body-flash combo is fully functional ie the ability of the various zoom lengths to show up in the flash LCD panel relevant

    2. standard functions eg will the "flash-ready" light really light up in viewfinder?LCD panel? as stated / re-charging time as stated /

    3. extra functions eg ability to flash while using motor drive at eg 5fps / rear-sync

in summary u will have to check every "checkable" aspect of the flash as stated in the product literature

    hi...
sounds stupid but dun forget to ask for everythig that comes with it, warranty, manual (impt! explains everything), case and wat not just in case you want to sell it again or simply to assess if the own takes good care of his stuff.

    Hi dehuis,

All that you have mentioned sounds logically to me.

Thanks for the reminder cos I'd probably forget about the manual.

    Cheers!
