is it intentional that the face got burn-out (over-exposed) consistently? flash direct on their faces?

Love the composition especially the wide angle shots. #3 sisters at the door and #7.
But like the rest of the folks I think the face is over exposed.

like the rest here...
i think the faces are kinda overexposed...
not sure if its intentional or not..

cos' no details on the face at all...just blank white..
IMHO, alittle pity...cos, the bride must have spent on make-up..and the flash washed off everything...
a pretty bride...with nice features, i think showing her features and make up would be nicer..

no offense please, just my own opinion..

i like your composition and ideas for - #08 & #10

yes. it was intentionally done so. =)

But thanks for all the comments on the over-exposure. Will take note of it when post editing in future. =D

Why did you intentionally over expose?
It's a bit like playing music with the treble cranked all the way up. Very harsh.

not really in a position to say anything as art is subjective. jus highlighting the obvious to u.

as long as the clients love it, i guess it is fine.

I guess in this case, the over-exposed shots might work in the couple's favour because I think the groom has some complexion issues and the brightness makes it more flattering for him. Perhaps?

not only over-exposed but it gives a bleach bypass type of image effect. i dunno if that's a deliberate intention but if it pleases your clients, than go for it.
