Default sunny day fill flash

Hi All,

Sorry if this was asked before. I'm trying to use fill flash on a bright sunny day to eliminate the shadow created on the face of the subject. But I noticed after using the flash my subject looks bluish. Does it have to do with the white balance? I'm using Auto.

Yes, your flash is "cooler" compared to the sunlight which is warmer. To compensate, consider putting a warm color gel across your flash.
