I don't think so lah!.Of course I do not look 20 or 30 yrs younger.
Things happened and maybe just my luck.Sometimes people just take things for granted.
My wife used to be pregnant and she tried as much as she can to cover in decency.
But trend nowadays I realised these people exposed them to the extend of showing offs.I've seen a few uncovered, bare bulging tummy. (Sorry again...not trying to be rude).
I feel sorry for them as woman they have to bare this burden. So hv to excuse them being moody at certain times.

    I said "sure,no problem".
You know what?.Not a single word or even gesture of gratitude from this pregnant lady. And not even a smile. From her look, she's well-dressed and educated office worker.
Ok.In the first place I feel guilty bcos why must I wait for someone to tell me to surrender my seat to somebody who needed it more. The only excuse...I was looking at my fone.
I am a 55 yrs old man sitting with my camera bag on my lap..I saw those sitting beside and around me are much more younger people reading papers and magazines. Some even sit down enjoying the seats and look at me like I've done something wrong.
I'm not complaining and I can say that the lady who asked me for the seat is doing the right thing and she actually thanks me for what I've done.
But what abt the gesture of the pregnant lady? she looks ok and healthy to me, and her tummy is not that big(..sorry not trying to be rude).
And what abt the people who realised/saw this pregnant lady in the first place should offer their seat earlier.Instead looked at me as if I'm not a civic-minded person.

Sometimes I gave my seat to people much older than me or even family carrying infants or kids. But with nice gestures in return like word of thanks and smile will make us do
the good deeds forever without getting bored.

Am I a grumpy 55 yrs old man.
Or maybe I still looked fit and younger than I am.
That's why I was asked to offer my seat to people who needed it more.
Everyone expect somebody else to be gracious.

Not everyone can afford to take cab or drive just because they are pregnant.

if this is so, SG would be really having a population problem now.

This guy then took out his mobile phone and aimed at me and attempted to take a shot.
I gave him a glare and he kept his mobile phone immediately but continued to grumble.

When the train arrived at City Hall, The person next to me stood up to alight from the MRT.
The "Big Butt" then grabbed the seat. The man who was with the lady was still grumbling staring at me.

I decided to turn off the music to hear what he was grumbling about. He was grumbling to the woman whom now I know is his wife.... " SOME PEOPLE SO RUDE. DUN EVEN KNOW HOW TO GIVE UP SEAT TO 3 months PREGNANT WOMEN. I want to send the picture to stomp to show them how rude they are."

Since it was time for me to alight anyway, I just walked up to the man and said to him.
"I wun know your wife is pregnant if she faces her Bottoms at my face all the time." Then i left.
There you are.......only 3 months pregnant.
If a senior citizen especially with sticks walk in the train and nobody offer him/her a seat..then this is inhuman.Few times,I do let them take my seat and in return they gave me a smile with thanks.I felt it really made my day altho it was a small matter.

In you case, talking abt RUDE....who's RUDE.
If the hubby is polite enough,he should nicely asked someone to give the seat to his wife if she's really desperate...I mean REALLY DESPERATE!....only 3 mths pregnant and the hubby grumbled away non-stop......please!!!.

Serves him right for what you've told him.

Why MRT train didn't specified seat for pregnant women or frail elderly? Which should make things easier . Also train opperator should improve on frequency, so those who need seat will more likely you get one. Rather than fatten the share holder.

3 months pregnant? How to tell? 3 months is not going to create much extra weight for the pregnant women .

    shared responsibility lah...

if a kid had a fall and cry on the roadside...

if there is only 1 person around, that person will either help or not...

but if 10 people around that area, might not have anyone helping, cos each will think, if i dun help... still got 9 person... 1/10 of the share of responsibility...
