Default FAult Code on D80

Hi guys, anyone like to share some Fault code u have seen on ur D80? I personnelly encounter a R04 today when i tried to shoot. i cant shot. anyone can help? I also encounter F-EE before. Anyone knows how to interprete the fault code?

R04 is your buffer left or something. maybe you have been shooting in bursts?

F-EE = Aperture Error, not set to F-22 on lens
F-- = Aperture Error, lens not mounted properly

Is R04 an error code actually?
its just how much buffer you have left.. you cannot shoot when you reach R00.

It depends on how fast your camera can save to the card, and what type of files you are saving, i.e. Raw+Jpg Fine Large or Jpg Only that determines how many you can burst at one go.

That's not a fault code. It refers to remaining capacity of the buffer in terms of the number of frames.

9 shots left and 7 shots left respectively?

at a certain setting you may get to see R11, hold down the shutter to burst, and you see the number go down from R11 -> 10, 9 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 00! thats when you have no more buffer left cannot shoot.

Don't you read the manual! I just spend 2 minutes and I found it in the manual!

thanks mike, seems like the most fault encountered is FEE.. anyone wana share? izzt onli cause by the KIT LENS? ha.

no.. Kit Lense does not cause F-EE because its a G-lens, and has no aperture ring

only lenses with aperture ring, when aperture is not set to 22 on the lens, will result in F-EE when mounted.
