Hi Guys,
Im wondering, how does the wireless mode of the flash works? If you say it's wireless, it's transmitting some frequency out to the flash to fire right? But how come it must be line of sight with the camera then it will flash? Sorry, it's troubling me. I'm figuring out how it works I have a slave flash that have a light sensor to sense light changes. Pretty straight forward unlike this Sony flash. Cheers, Jun Kai |

U need to set the camera for Wireless flash and your flash on wireless as well.
Read the camera manual on how to do this. yes, currently all speedlights are working of line of side code rather than a simple light sensitive sensor. I use 2 x 56 flashes for location portrait, interior photography and almost every other stuff that require flash. Regards, Hart |

I believe ADi works if the flash head is 90 degree position even if it is wireless.
However, try to work in Manual mode if you want absolute control. Regards, Hart |
