Super gritty driving by Massa. Not so good for Kimi.
A calm and composed drive by Hamilton. Impressed.

I will be watching the 1st corner LIVE in Shanghai. Ferrari is gonna win that race

Thanks bro. Hope I can get some better shots than last year.

I think the Drivers championship is more or less decided lah. It will be Hamilton, unless he crashes out two races in a row. Kimi's body language said it all. He knows its over for him. He has to win two races and hope that Hamilton doesn't finish.

Last year it was heartbreak in Japan for Schumi. This year its heartbreak time for Alonso. I kinda feel sad for him that he lost out this way. Losing a race because of an accident or mechanical failure doesn't seem fair. But that's how racing is. And that's how life is.

Congrats to Hamilton for a deserved win!

Kimi took the result matter-of-factly, and even then he is feeling some sense of eventuality. Much applause for Alonso as well. He and his team put in a lot of heart. The team's reaction to his crash said it all.

Well, that's that for this season. Let's not delude ourselves with a DNF for Hamilton in the next two races. The Devil's Luck is clearly with him (and let's not even go into that voodoo-trance like spooky stare of Hamilton's Dad!), and he will be making F1 history as the first driver to win the championship in his debut year.

So what do we Tifosi's have to look forward for the rest of 2008 then?

    1) Shanghai: This has traditionally been Ferrari's turf. Less straights, more technical. I'm sure both Kimi and Massa will have a blast there. Steamed dumplings with a helping of rice wine will surely keep Kimi's spirits up!

    2) Brazil: Massa's home race! I'm gonna root for this little fighter of a terrier to show serious mettle in his home race. Hopefully a Ferrari 1-2 for the curtain closing of 2007!

    3) Ross Brawn: The Return of the Jedi? Todt has done is dues, and it's time to let go of the power throttle and let someone else at the reigns. Hopefully we'll get to see a more reliable F2008 if not a faster one!

Nope, this time I am not going to Shanghai. Have a job in another country. So $$$$$ more important.

As for my friend, I will ask him about it if I can get some kinda of pass. He got it for me the last time but I am not sure he will be willing to give to others. Heehee.......

I understand. Actually my colleague in Shanghai has a friend who works for the organizers. I was supposed to get a pit lane pass but things didn't work out (I never believed I would get pit lane access, so possibly I never got it).

Now, another friend is arranging for the tickets. I just said that I would like to see the race from B stand where I can see the 1st corner. I have an addiction for the 1st corner Had a first corner view in Sepang this year, hopefully I will get the right tickets in Shanghai too.

I was out the whole day, so didn't catch the action. But from the 'live' commentary provided by our F1 bros here in CS, sounds like it was a very eventful race Too bad Ferrari didn't win, but it feel SHIOK to hear Alonso crash out of the race

With 2 race left, I must admit that Hamilton has a very high chance of winning his 1st championship. I don't see how Kimi can catch up, unless Hamilton crash out from the last 2 races. Well, just as long as Alonso don't win, it will be a minor consolation for me Hope Kimi can overtake Alonso in the final standing
