hi all,
I'm wearing glasses and while looking into the viewfinder of my camera, I can never see the full view, i.e. picture and status bar together. Any solution to this?

Already squished but still cannot see. Must move head up and down, so sometimes forget to check exposure, aperture, shutter speed.

Adjust the diopter so you dont have to wear glasses while you use?

Yes..agree! I've seen some user who wear glasses doing that..every time they want to shoot, they will have to remove glasses or push glasses up to the forehead..but before doing this u have to adjust the diopter to suit u..else wearing contact lenses is the other alternative..

Ok, so it seem like there isn't any Nikon adapters that will solve my problem then. Will try out adjusting the diopter.

Hmmmm... I'm wearing glasses and I use the D200, I rarely get any problem, unless I am further from the viewfinder. Could it be that your glasses are thick??
As suggested, you can do without the glasses or use contacts... else move your head a lil up and down to catch the details. |

Weird... unless the frame of your glasses makes the lens sit much further from your eyes... that's the only logical explaination I can think of...

ya lor ... but because the "status bar" is out of view, I tend to forget to check the exposure, shutter speed, aperture etc.

you have several options:
1. Do not wear your specs 2. wear contacts instead 3. go for lasik 4. wait for D3 for live view. |
