Anyone has any experience? I am planning to get either one of them.
Cathaynow has offer buy Tokina get a free Lowepro bag. Understand Sigma has HSM which is faster AF. |

Never try Tokina before, but my Sigma copy is quite sharp. With HSM, it is also very silent. The AF of this model is also comparable to canon's AF. However, it also tends to hunt a bit in low light environment.

i have the sigma 50-150 for about a year. when buying, test its focusing between 1m to 2m. it tends to front focus at that range. i send mine for calibration before. great service from sigma btw
. other than that, it is a good lens. fast AF, great range. but pity no IS ![]() |
