Any pentax mount that is not M42 should fit.
Should probably not that K-mount (not KA) lens will not be able to communicate it's aperture setting to the camera. So it will show up as "--". |

Try this chart: http://www.pentaximaging.com/product...lity_chart.jsp
But I don't think it's very updated since K100D and K10D are not there. Probably share the same compatibility as the *ist D, don't trust me completely on that.... Landscape and macro and cheap? Can all three come together? Maybe try Sigma's 17-70mm macro or 18-50mm macro for a compromise. |

The following is an extract from the old PENTAX Lenses and Accessories booklet (M-Series lenses) that I happen to have.
Which should I purchase first, a wide-angle or a telephoto lens? Before attempting to make the above decision, it is necessary to use the 50mm or 55mm standard lens for about 3 months. After this period, it will become clear to you which need is greater by simply asking yourself which type of situation you most frequently encounter i.e. telephoto or wide-angle. Replace the 50mm lens with the kit lens in the above paragraph and I think that advice remains true today with DSLRs as it did then with 35mm film cameras.
