Hi all,
have decided to dust off my Kiev 60 and see how it works. I'd like to get a CLA done first though. Any recommendations on where I should head to and how much a normal CLA would cost? And, would they check for film spacing? Before I got this off ebay, I did read that it could be an issue with the Kiev family. Mine may need a bit more of sorting; my cat managed to push it off the shelve. Being the tank that it is, the body was unmarked, but a bit of foam came out within the prism and is visible through the viewfinder. Any pointers on where to go to would be appreciated. Thanks! At least S$150-200.
You may wish to have it sent overseas for a CLA. May still be cheaper. PM Parlin. |

Hi,
thanks for the link. I came across it yesterday already, but given that I once took apart a russian lens and could not put it back together, I think I'll pay someone else to do the adjustments. Only thing is, just wondering if they would be familiar with the Kiev. Not very rare, but not very common either. Thanks all, will consider my options at this point. |
