    Default What basic equipment needed to set up a personal home studio?

    I wanted to set up a studio in one of my room. so wat are the basic equipment needed?

    a camera body with a lense, flash(portable or studio), 1 reflector(styrofoam board also can).

    what is a tripot?

    is it 3 pots?

    btw those are not real lights, i am not saying they cannot be used

    I guess it's tripod? typo error? backdrop w/o lighting possible? I mean just using flash?

    go to the studio equipment websites and read their publications
    then visit studios to see what it actually does

    then rent a studio to play with the equipment

    after all of that then you can decise to buy or not to buy

    do your sum, all these items PQ23 is also selling, add them up together you will have your answers.

    but do not the flash is not very powerful, and no modeling lamp.

    portable means is able to power by batteries

    studio means is running on AC.

    usually we call it lights stand, tripod is referring to camera tripod.

    btw, the light shows in the photo is AC powered slave flash, you better check properly is he giving you a 125w household light bulb or the AC powered slave flash?

    How basic is ur setup for?
    Still life? Product? Portraiture?

    IMO..all these have different basic requirement..
