you can get the 55-250mm. paired with your kit it will give you 18-250mm coverage. or instead of the 28-105 get the 24-85. 28 mm may not be wide enough for 1.6x. 24-85 also got better colour

What do you need to shoot with the new lens?
Everyone wants better, sharper pictures from their lenses, but some wanna shoot events, some wanna shoot birds, and others wanna shoot scenery, so you need to tell us what you want to shoot. |

1. Canon EF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 II USM 2. Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III USM 3. Sigma APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG MARCO 4. Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM Depending on what else you shoot..... but of the 3, option 1 is out. If you can wait, see if can get the Canon 55-200mm with USM IS....... wait for review though..... Sigma value is hard to beat..... and will be a good beginner lens also.... But from my own experience, I will go for Canon EF mounts only.......

I will go for the sigma APO 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro.
The image quality from this lens definitely beats those from the 2 telezoom canon lenses you have on your list. Its built is pretty good for its price too. |

precisely.. u can never write off the kit lens. it can deliver if u know how to maximize its potential.. like the others have mentioned, invest in a tele lens. or u can juz keep the cash and juz shoot for the time being with ur kit.. learn abt. ur needs and ur preference in photography before splurging on equipments. more often than not (and i believe some CSers will agree
), those who start off gettin mediocre equipments or those that dun suit their style of shooting find themselves wasting their money when they sell off their current set-up to upgrade or to get some alternatives.. ![]() |

Kit lens is really useful if you ultilise it well
Im using the kit lens too ![]() you should now consider what you want to shoot its no point getting a tele just to cover that range consider if you're be using it often enough to justify the purchase |

IMO, sell the kit, then 18-50 and 50-150 f/2.8 from sigma (both).
